Penny Mae Albright, 68, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday evening, December 20, 2022, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas Walter and Kay Louise (Miller) Miner.

Surviving are three brothers: Carl T. Miner (Martha) of Martinsburg, T. Craig Miner of Huntingdon, and Timothy B. Miner (Cathy) in WY; a sister, Sharon K. Howe of Martinsburg; a sister-in-law, Deborah E. Miner of Lewistown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen K. Miner; a sister-in-law, Diane M. Miner, and a brother-in-law, Edward M. Howe II.

Penny was a 1972 graduate of Juniata Valley High School and worked as a waitress at the Diner 22 in Water Street and at Eat’n Park, Altoona.

She attended the Martinsburg Church of God, loved spending time with her family, and also enjoyed crafting, hairdressing and cooking.

Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Monday, December 26, 2022 at Martinsburg Church of God, and from 10 until 11am, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, where a funeral service will follow at 11am, her brother, Pastor Carl T. Miner will officiate. Private inurnment will be held at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery, Altoona. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Penny, may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
