Percy Duane Bowman, 81, of Everett, passed away on August 7, 2025 at his home. He was born on November 5, 1943 in Clearville; son of the late Kenneth and Verna (Sollenberger) Bowman. On February 12, 1965 at the Everett Church of the Brethren, he was united in marriage to Annette I. (Stone) Bowman.

Percy was a graduate of the Everett High School Class of 1962. He retired from Kennametal as a welder. Percy was an Honorary Member of the Everett Fire Company No. 1, a member of the Everett Masonic Lodge #524, a founding member of Raystown Ambulance Service, and a member of the Everett Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed working in his garage welding and working on various projects and spending time with his family. Percy was a John Deere tractor enthusiast and was a stranger to none.

He was preceded in death by a son, Duane T. Bowman. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Annette; daughter, Letitia Neuder (husband, Joel) of Spartanburg, SC; son, Darrell Bowman (wife, Dawn) of Everett; grandchildren, Matthew (Becca) of Lebanon, Danielle (Jordan) of Roaring Spring, Joel Jr. (Courtney) of South Carolina, Terrell of Everett, Ty (Emily) of South Carolina, Shelbi of Everett, and Jayden of Everett; great-grandchildren, Haley, Emily, Reed, Percy, Beckett, Kacer, Blake, and Bennett; brother, Merrit Bowman; sister, Anna Marie Layton (Gary); as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends will be received on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 1:00PM until the 3:00PM Funeral Service at the Everett Church of the Brethren; Pastor Michael Benner officiating. Interment will be in Everett Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend thanks to Heartland Hospice for their exceptional care.
