Priscilla (Kling) Pegan-Jonson, 89, Douglasville, GA formerly of Woodbury passed away in Hiram, GA.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas C. and Nancy (Bechtel) Kling. Mrs. Jonson was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne H. Jonson.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Deborah (Pegan) Clark-McCormick and Melanie E. Pegan; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; also surviving are 2 step-sons: William R. Jonson and James Jonson; a step-daughter, Kathy Kelly; 11 step-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Lawrence Pegan.
Mrs. Jonson grew to adulthood in a remote, peaceful, Pennsylvania valley and was a graduate of Altoona High School, Meadville City Hospital School of Nursing and Penn State University. She was a member of Beta Sigma PHI and Covenant Lutheran Church, Temple, TX.
Friends will be received from 11 am until the 12:30 pm funeral service, Friday, November 4, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. Interment will be held at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury.
