Ralph J. Cunfer, 87, longtime resident of the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Ashfield, son of the late Charles and Mary (Brobst) Cunfer. He married Marjorie P. Petrow.
Surviving are his wife, Margie in California; 4 brothers: Ernest and Dean of Slatington, Carl of Mansfield, OH and Edward of Doylestown; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Arvilla Cunfer.
Ralph was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Ashfield Cemetery. His niece, Rev. Mary J. Hendricks will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph’s memory can be given to the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
