RALPH E. SWARTZ, 86, Of Roaring Spring, formerly of Juniata PA, Died at home 04/07/2015. Born 05/17/1928 in Juniata the son of Harry and Florence (Gunsallur) Swartz. Married Lois Jean (Miller) on 01/01/1958. She was a member of the Holy Fire Chapel and retired from Conrail. He was a CPL in the 7th US Army 1279 th Engineer Battalion company C. he enjoyed Hunting, Making Models, Racing Model rare cars, Polka Music and was a member of the Altoona Miro Midget Racers Assoc.
Survivors: his wife and two sons Ronald Swartz and wife Marietta of Duncansville and Donald Swartz and wife Debroah of Hollidaysburg 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren preceded in death by one sister Irene and two brothers Fred and Paul.
Friends received Thursday 04/09/15 5-8pm and 10-11 am all at the Holy Fire Chapel 1022 Bloom Field St. Roaring Spring, where an 11am service will be held by Pastor Charles J. Brewbaker, interment in the Keggie Cemetery, inlue of flowers, Memorials maybe made to the Holy Fire Church. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver FH, Woodbury.
