Richard L. “Rich” Brower

Richard L. “Rich” Brower, 81, of East Freedom, formerly of Spring City passed away Tuesday morning, October 1, 2024 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Pottstown, son of the late Everett H. “Bud” and Evelyn B. “Tis” (Roberts) Brower.  On August 21, 1964 he married Kathy Bauer at the Grace Lutheran Church, Royersford.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy of 60 years; three daughters: Rochelle D. Noal (Joel) of Hollidaysburg, Shannan C. Ake (Joel) of Williamsburg, and Farrah K. Brower (Dan Warner) of Bellefonte; and five grandchildren: Rebecca McCracken (Alex), Courtney Noal (Conner Neely), Ian Ake, Neil Ake, and Arya Warner.

He was a 1961 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and also a 1964 graduate of Temple University. Rich retired after 31 years as a regional manager for Kenney Manufacturing, Warwick, RI.

Rich loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and four-wheeling.

At Rich’s request, there will be no public service. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc, Martinsburg.
