Ricky "Rick" E. Russell

Rick E. Russell, 73, of Altoona, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Midtown Oaks Health & Rehab Center – Altoona. He was born on December 29, 1952 in Gallipolis, Ohio; son of the late Grant E. and Vivian E. “Erma” (Fife) Russell.

Rick was a Class of 1971 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He worked as a salesman for Pro Active Sports. Rick enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, softball, and bowling.

Surviving are sons Jared L. Russell (wife, Angell) of Land O Lakes, FL, and Christopher J. Russell of Madison, WI, and their mother Pam Russell; grandchildren: Rosalie and Reid Russell; and sisters: Melinda “Mindy” S. Johnston (husband, Daren) of Penn Run and Beth A. Bowman (husband, Sam) of Williamsburg.

A private Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Fink & Stone Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery – Martinsburg.
