Robert A. “Bob” McCloskey Jr.

Robert A. “Bob” McCloskey Jr., 49, of Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, June 5, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Altoona, son of Richard R. and Della A. (McGregor) Leonard.  Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. McCloskey Sr. on March 2, 2022.

Surviving are his parents of Williamsburg; five siblings: Richard R. Leonard Jr. of Freeland, Nikita Reckart (Steven), Teresa Condon and Susan Hughes (Jason) of Williamsburg and Allen Saylor (Dana) of State College; four nieces: Leslie, Riley, Bailey and Ellie Mae; three nephews: Ryan, Dustin and Remmington; two great-nieces: Elizabeth and Payton; longtime girlfriend, Crystal L. Piper of Williamsburg; and many extended family and friends that loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Reighard.

Bob was a 1993 graduate of Williamsburg High School and worked for many years for Campbell's Property Maintenance in Williamsburg.

He loved spending time with family and friends, being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Friends will be received from 5-7pm, Monday, June 9, 2025 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 7pm, Pastor Melinda Hillegass officiating.  Private interment will be held at Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

Contributions in memory of Bob may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
