Robert W. “Bob” Pheasant

Robert W. “Bob” Pheasant, 77, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

He was born in Huntingdon, son of the late Roy T. and Ruth M. (Frye) Pheasant.  On September 23, 1993 he married Linda L. Gearhart in Winchester, VA.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years; seven children: Wayne Pheasant (Tammie), Joel Pheasant (Leslie), Dale Pheasant (Jody), Bonnie Hileman (John), Timothy Gearhart (Cindy), Terry Gearhart (Julie) and Tracy Kipphan (Mike); a foster-daughter, Iris Rhodes; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald R. Pheasant.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tena Marie Pheasant.

Bob attended Morrisons Cove High School, Martinsburg.  He retired from Grannas Brothers in 2016 with 20 years of service and also owned and operated a dairy farm along Clover Creek for 30 years.

For many years, he attended Salem United Church of Christ, rural Martinsburg.  Bob loved his savior, Jesus Christ and spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed raising chickens and watching old country & western shows.

Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Salem United Church of Christ, rural Martinsburg and from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Friday, June 11, 2021 at the church, Pastor Micah Clouse officiating.  Interment will follow at Salem Reformed Church Cemetery.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
