Robert Edward Hughes

Robert Edward Hughes, 40, of New Enterprise, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his home. He was born on January 11, 1986 in Altoona; son of Kenneth A. and Carrol A. (Diehl) Hughes.

Robert was a Class of 2004 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School. He was employed as a painter at JLG in McConnellsburg. Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Gerald and Kathleen Hughes; maternal grandparents: Robert and Mary Diehl; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Surviving are his parents, Kenneth and Carrol Hughes as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
