ROBERT GLENN WALTER went to be with the Lord on 01/14/2014.He was born 11/16/1931 in Salemville, the son of Ruth and David Walter. He married his wife Wilma on 11/16/1952 at New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. He is survived by Wilma, his wife of 61 years, three children, Robert Walter and wife Karen of Duncansville, Wanda and husband Richard Bradley of Virginia, Peggy and Husband Jeff North of Colorado, two grandchildren Jessica and Aaron and one Great Grandson David, all of Colorado, and one brother Kenny of Salemville. He was a member of the Waterside Church of the Brethren and previous member of the Southern cove Rod and Gun club .He served two and a half years in the Army during the Korean conflict, earning a Bronze Star. He retired as a pipe fitter from US Steel in Johnstown. He Loved his wife, children, grandchildren and  Great Grand Son and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.
Friends received Sat. 12PM to 3PM the 18th at the Waterside Church of the Brethren where a 3pm service will be held by Pastor Michael Benner. Interment at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
