Robert Oro Mountain

Robert Oro Mountain, 84, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on June 7, 2024 at Rebekah Manor Personal Care Home, Northern Cambria. He was born on July 21, 1939 in New Enterprise, son of the late Oro and Dollie (Reighard) Mountain. Bob first married Donna Lee Smith in 1958, she preceded him in death on June 6, 2014. He then married Patricia (Yannut) Grosmick in 2017, who survives.

Bob worked construction his whole life. First, as a teen with his father at New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company, building bridges. He then went to Nicodemus Construction as a Job Foreman, and later, Ralph J. Albarano & Sons as a Superintendent. After retirement, Bob enjoyed gardening and spending time with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Lee Mountain; a brother, Eugene Mountain; and sisters, Ura Eichelberger, Pearl Clark, and Dessie Deatrick. Surviving is his wife, Patricia Mountain; son, Jeffrey Mountain (Sherri); grandson, Jonathan Mountain; great-granddaughter, Ava Rose Mountain; brothers, Wilbur, Merle, and Paul Mountain; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

At request of the deceased, funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Salemville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Bob’s name can be made to the Woodbury Food Bank (131 Hipples Cave Rd. Woodbury, PA 16695).
