Robert William “Rob” Parks, 61, of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday evening, June 30, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Marjorie L. Parks, who passed away on December 9, 2001.

Surviving are his friend and caregiver, Christine Lower of Williamsburg; friend, that was like a son, Dillon Lower (Summer) of Front Royal, VA and their daughter Elizabeth Lower; and Rob’s three best friends: Jay Wyland, Dale Wyland and Kevin Lower.

Rob was preceded in death by his mother and many uncles and aunts.

He was a 1980 graduate of Williamsburg High School and was of the Methodist faith.  Rob worked for Cove Pallets LP (Sawmill) in rural Martinsburg for over 10 years.

Rob loved being outdoors, working around his house and morning walks with his dog, Bella.  He also enjoyed riding his tractor, four wheeler and motorcycle.

A private graveside service will be held at Presbyterian Cemetery, Williamsburg.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Rob may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
