Robert “Bob” S. Orosz, 79, rural Martinsburg, passed away late Sunday, August 1, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Steve and Jean Alice (Burba) Orosz.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Evelyn "Peggy" Orosz of 43 years; a daughter, Roberta G. Pierpont (James) of Glen Burnie, MD; a granddaughter, Jordan M. Pierpont; a step-son, Kevin J. Hudgins of Springfield, VA; a brother, Charles T. Orosz (Donna) of Hopewell; a sister, Valerie Drosky of Bedford; and his loyal companion, Angel.

He was preceded in death by a step-son, Johnathan S. Hudgins.

Bob was a 1960 graduate of Ferndale High School and a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1961-1963.

He was employed as a financial administrative officer with the federal government (Department of Commerce) NOAA, National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration in Rockville, MD, with a total of 36 years of service.  Bob was of the catholic faith and enjoyed traveling, making jewelry and collecting various items over the years.

All services will be private and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
