Ronald Lee Clapper, 69, Camden, DE, passed away Thursday at Kent General Hospital, Dover, DE.
He was born in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Rawleigh and Mary (Sollenberger) Clapper. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Gisela Clapper.
Surviving are 3 daughters: Patricia G. Henault, Monica Allen both of Magnolia, DE and Andrea Bytof (Jeff) of Felton, DE; 4 grandchildren: Danielle Henault, Nathaniel Allen, Jeffrey Bytof, Kylie Bytof; and 3 sisters: Mary Lou Stiffler of Osterburg, Jone Kingery of Alexandria, VA and Barbara Leidy of Martinsburg.
Ronald was a 1965 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg and enjoyed watching NASCAR and bass fishing.
Ret. MSgt Clapper served as an aircraft mechanic for United States Air Force, retiring in 1988 from Dover AFB, DE with 22 years of service.
Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Friday, August 19, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 20, 2016, Pastor Joel F. Nogle officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
