Ronald E. Kifer, 72, Hollidaysburg formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday morning at his home.
He was born in rural Williamsburg, son of the late Roy A. and Emma I. (Brantner) Kifer.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Ann (Imler) Kifer of Hollidaysburg; 3 sons: Ronald E. Jr., Robert “Bob”, and Brendan; 3 daughters: Patricia Monteith and Melissa and Allison Kifer; 2 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother: Roy E. “Sonny”; and 3 sisters: Charlotte Flaig, Lois Imler and C. Jane Smith.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Mary Wike and Eleanor Ross; and a brother, Barry L.
Mr. Kifer was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and also served in the U.S. Army.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public services. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
