Ronnie Lee Ross, 72, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday morning, February 18, 2024 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Williamsburg at home, son of the late Charles Franklin and Ruth Pauline (Lee) Ross.

Surviving are two sisters: Inez M. Imler (Rodney) of Williamsburg and twin, Connie L. Corle-Stiffler (Jerre) of James Creek; a sister-in-law, Joleen L. Ross of rural Williamsburg; a brother-in-law, Ronald McConahy of Williamsburg; many nieces and nephews he dearly loved; and his canine best friend, Diesel.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: infant Charles and Larry Lee Ross; a sister, Jone L. McConahy; three nieces: Charley Jo Corle, Georganne (Corle) Wicker and Debra Lee Rispoli; and a brother-in-law, George J. Corle.

Ronnie was a 1970 graduate of Williamsburg High School and longtime member of Williamsburg Church of the Brethren.

Following graduation Ronnie worked at the Silk Mill in Altoona and later was employed at Cove Shoe Factory, Martinsburg.  He retired as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant from The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg with over 25 years of service.

Ronnie loved spending time with his family and having dinner with his work friends from The Village.  He also enjoyed crocheting his own afghan designs, taking care of his plants, shopping at Walmart and buying new cars.

Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Thursday, February 22, 2024 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg and from 10 until the 11am funeral service, Friday, February 23, 2024 at Williamsburg Church of the Brethren, Pastor Alan E. Brumbaugh officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
