Ruhama Ellen Willey, 77, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 13, 2024, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born in Woodbury Township, daughter of the late Marion Thomas and Lillian Adeline (Imler) Robley.  On June 15, 1968, she married Merl Edward Willey in Williamsburg, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2013.

Surviving are a son, Thomas E. Willey (Sheila) of Roaring Spring; a daughter, Susan M. Greenleaf (Thomas), of Martinsburg; two granddaughters: Ashley N. Greenleaf of Hollidaysburg and Hannah E. Greenleaf of Martinsburg; a step-granddaughter, Nicole M. Weyandt (Ethan) of Woodbury; 3 step-great grandchildren: Annalynn, Alivia, and Maise Weyandt; long-time friend, Dennis P. Dilling of Martinsburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and many cousins including Peg Teeter (Clair) of New Enterprise, who remained a close friend since childhood, and with whom she spoke with on a regular basis.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert E. Robley; special friends: Richard F. Leidy and Ginger C. Dilling and many other of her work “family” whom she dearly loved.

Ruhama was a 1965 graduate of Central High School, and following graduation, was an employee at Leidy’s Home Furnishing in Martinsburg until 2021.  She had previously attended Salem United Church of Christ, and was a current member of St. John’s UCC, Martinsburg.

Ruhama loved genealogy, and enjoyed gardening, reading, taking care of the numerous pets she owned over the years, and spending time with friends and family, especially her granddaughters.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm, Monday, June 17, 2024, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.  Private interment will be held at the Martinsburg Mennonite Cemetery.
