Ruth V. Lloyd, 94, of Clearfield, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away late Monday, November 18, 2024 at Knickerbocker Villa, Clearfield.

She was born in Morris Township, Huntingdon County, daughter of the late Towner W. and Kathryn P. (Fink) Oberlander.  On July 3, 1950 she married Donald Eugene Lloyd in Winchester, VA.  He preceded her in death on March 7, 2018 following 67 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Lombardo (Sam) of Clearfield; two grandsons: Patrick Lombardo and Mark Lombardo (Angela); three great-grandsons: Benjamin, Ryan and Nicholas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters: Lorraine Oberlander, Betty Clabaugh and Kathryn Evans; and a brother, William Oberlander.

Ruth was a 1949 graduate of Williamsburg High School.  She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield.

She was employed at various tailor shops while living in Clearfield and Indiana.  Ruth also worked for many years as a Bank Teller in both Indiana and Johnstown.

Ruth loved spending time with her family, especially with her grand and great-grandchildren and also playing golf, her proudest golf moment was her two holes-in-one.  She also enjoyed bowling and time shared with her card club friends.

Friends will be received from 1 until 2pm, Sunday, November 24, 2024 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a memorial service will begin at 2pm, Pastor C. Matthew Roberts officiating.  Private inurnment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
