Ruth Z. (Garman) Oberholtzer

Ruth Z. Oberholtzer, 73, of New Enterprise, passed away on October 7, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1951 in East Earl, Pennsylvania; daughter of the late Henry S. and Susan (Zimmerman) Garman. Ruth was a homemaker and member of the Groffdale Mennonite Church.

Surviving is husband, Elmer M. Oberholtzer; daughter, Linda Rissler (Luke M.); daughter, Sharon Zimmerman (Linus L.); son, Jason G. Oberholtzer (Irene); 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Laura Martin (Mervin M.); sister, Susan Reiff (John, dec.); sister, Anna Martin (Carl, dec.); sister, Alta Zimmerman (Menno, dec.); and brothers, John Z., Aaron Z., and Clarence Z. Garman.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the residence of Luke and Linda Rissler (2039 Salemville Road New Enterprise, Pennsylvania 16664). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the New Enterprise Old Order Mennonite Church: Groffdale Conference beginning at 9:30AM.
