Ryan Douglas Smith, 31, rural Martinsburg, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning in rural Martinsburg.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Douglas A. and Veronica L. (Dawson) Smith.
Surviving are his parents; 2 brothers: Preston A. (Brittany) and Brandon L. (Mea); a sister, Caroline G. Zimmerman (Aden); a niece, Anna Smith; and grandparents, Dennis A. and Margaret J. Smith all of rural Martinsburg.
He was a 2004 graduate of Central High School and attended Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church for many years.
Ryan was employed in construction during High School and the years following graduation, he also worked on his family’s dairy farm along Piney Creek for many years.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his brothers and sister.
A private funeral service will be held at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church, Pastor J. Brandt Leidy and Pastor Brian L. McCall officiating. Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
