Sgt. Travis L. Lang

Sgt. Travis L. Lang, 32, Dunlo, Cambria County, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
He was born in Charlestown, WV, son of the late Deborah J. Rinker. Travis married Erica S. Oswald on October 10, 2003 in Roaring Spring.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 11 years; 2 sons: Gabrial L. and Obadiah J. both at home; stepfather Tim Rinker of Hollidaysburg; 4 brothers; and a sister.
He was a 2001 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. Following high school, Travis joined the Army Reserves and in 2006 enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a radio technician/operator. He served proudly until 2013 attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Travis was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church, Roaring Spring and the American Legion, Dunlo Post 573.
He enjoyed singing karaoke, four wheeling, working and restoring old cars and trucks, and playing video games.
Friends will be received from 4:30pm until the 6pm memorial service with military honors, Friday, April 3, 2015 at Faith Assembly of God Church, Roaring Spring, Pastor Jeremiah Baker officiating.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
