Shane Byron Huntsman
July 28, 1986 – August 3, 2022
Shane Byron Huntsman, 36, of East Freedom, passed away Wednesday evening, August 3, 2022 at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of Randy B. and Karen L. (Ickes) Huntsman. On October 26, 2013, he married Jessica Lynn Miller at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jessica of 8 years. His parents of Martinsburg; a sister: Courtney L. Shoop and husband, Andy of Hollidaysburg; a brother: Jordan D. Huntsman and wife, Angela of Medina, OH. He is also survived by his nephew and nieces: Elliot A. and Genevieve L. Shoop, both of Hollidaysburg, and Julia M. and Allison G. Huntsman, both of Medina, OH.
Shane was a 2005 graduate of Central High School and a graduate of Penn State University, where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was employed as a draftsman at Corle Building Systems Inc., Imler with 11 years of service.
He enjoyed movies, video games, dining, brain teaser puzzles, budgeting, hunting, and occasional hiking and fishing. Shane attended and was actively involved at Living Hope Grace Brethren Church, Saxton for many years.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church and from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2022, where a funeral service will follow at 11 am at the church, Pastor Bill Hall officiating. A private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
