Sharon Eileen (Grubb) Jones, 77, of rural Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday evening, September 26, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Jacob Curtis Sr. and Elda Mae (Lynn) Grubb. On March 25, 1967, she married Merrill A. Jones in Martinsburg. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2021.

Surviving are a son, Shaun M. Jones (Lisa) of Bristol, IN; four grandchildren: John Hatch, Fredrik Hatch, Quay Jones, and Kamrie Jones; a great-grandson, Mathias Jones; a sister, Janet M. Claar of Martinsburg; a brother, P. Wilford “Bill” Grubb (Carolyn) of Martinsburg and a sister-in-law, Diane Brown of Duncansville.

She was preceded in death by two daughters: Crystal Jones and Tamberli Zeek and six brothers: Galen, Byron, Warren “Bob”, Garry, Roger, and Jacob “Jake” Grubb.

Sharon was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was employed as a secretary for Home Instead, Duncansville for 10 years.

She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Duncansville.

Sharon loved camping with her family and also enjoyed quilting and would often take her handmade creations to craft shows throughout the area.  She and Merrill spent many hours together at these craft shows.

There will be no public services and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
