Sherry Ann Keagy, 57, of East Freedom, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday afternoon, January 22, 2022 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of David S. Weyant and the late Judith A. (Farber) McNally.   On December 12, 1987 she married Michael D. Keagy in Geeseytown.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 34 years; her father of Bellwood; three daughters: Rachael S. Sheehan (Ryan Williams) of Roaring Spring, Cassandra L. Fishel (Jesse) of Coalport and Lindsey M. Keagy (Michael Eicher) of Claysburg; a son, Bradley M. Keagy at home; five grandchildren: Blayne Sheehan, Branson Sheehan, Makenlee Keagy, Bentley Fishel and Jameson Fishel; two brothers: James Weyant and Marshall Weyant (Michelle Hammel) both of Altoona; and five grand puppies: Tiller, Colt, Myla, Duke and Finn.

She was preceded in death by a son, Shannon S. Knab; and two brothers: infant Adam and Terrance Weyant.

Sherry attended Hollidaysburg High School and was a member of Smith Corner Independent Mennonite Church.  She was employed as a mark-down merchandiser and also helped in the shipping and delivery department at TJ Maxx in Altoona for the past 11 years.  Sherry also worked for many years at the Rax Restaurant in East Freedom and continued working there after it changed to Back Yard Burger.

Sherry was a kind, loving and generous wife, mom and nana that loved spending time with her family and antiquing.

Friends will be received from 5-8pm, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Smith Corner Independent Mennonite Church and from 10 until 11am, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the church, where a funeral service will follow at 11am, Pastor Dave McClanahan officiating.  Private interment will be held at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc. Martinsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sherry may be given to Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
