Sheryl L. Wagner, 65, of rural Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, August 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Howard M. and Patricia Ann (McClain) Clark.  On November 23, 1981 she married, John David Wagner in Winchester, VA.

Surviving are her beloved husband, John of 42 years: three daughters: Amy J. Miller (Terry Fresch) of Summerhill, Kristy Isett (Jason) of Tyrone and Heather J. Wagner at home; six grandchildren: Kayla Mountain, Jake Isett, Jonathan Isett, Kenley Isett, Meghan Miller and Erica Miller; two great-grandchildren: Lainey Isett and Ava Mountain; and four siblings: Howard M. Clark Jr., Penny A. Kidd, Linda L. Walter and Yvonne R. Stacey.

Sheryl was preceded in death by an infant sister, Patty Ann Clark; and a brother, Steven A. Clark Sr.

She attended Hollidaysburg Area High School and later completed her G.E.D.  Sheryl also completed multiple nursing classes through the Altoona Vocational School, but was unable to finish the program because of health problems.

She worked for many years as a caregiver for Home Health and Hospice and also at the Garden Spot Village in New Holland.  Sheryl loved spending time with her family and her pet dog, Cooper and also enjoyed playing games on her iPad.

Friends will be received from 6-7pm, Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a celebration of life service will begin at 7pm at the funeral home.  Private inurnment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sheryl may be given to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
