Steven Douglas Stevens, 66, Martinsburg passed away early Friday morning at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Donna (Kyler) Leedy of Martinsburg, PA and the late Floyd C. Stevens. On June 19 1970 he married Susan Simms in Baltimore, MD.
Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer (Stevens) Dombek (husband, Douglas); 2 grandchildren, Amanda and Mark Dombek, all of Louisville, CO; 2 sisters, Brenda (Stevens) Baer of Baltimore, MD and Deborah McPherson of Pawleys Island, SC; a brother, Randy Stevens of Sparks, MD; a niece, Elaine McDougal; a nephew, Devon Fick and great nephew , Rowan Fick.
Steve was a 1967 graduate of Forest Park High School, Baltimore, MD. He was the owner of several successful businesses in Baltimore and Florida. He had a passion for fast cars and dirt track racing and also loved boating and being on the water. Steve loved his time growing up in the cove and spent his final months living in Martinsburg with his mother, Donna (Kyler) Leedy.
Friends will be received from 6 – 8 pm, Friday, October 7, 2016 at the John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the funeral home, Pastor Bradley Davis officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
