Susan M. “Sue” Beatty, 63, rural Williamsburg, passed away Sunday afternoon at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert D. and Joan E. (Farringer) Strayer. On June 18, 2005 she married Clarence A. Beatty in rural Williamsburg. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2016.

Surviving are two sisters: Elizabeth Smith and Peggy Chesney; and a brother, Robert D. Strayer Jr. all of Williamsburg; and many other loving relatives.

Sue was a 1973 graduate of Williamsburg High School and attended Mines United Methodist Church and the former Williamsburg Church of God.

She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed word search puzzles and watching television.

Friends will be received from 4pm until the 5pm, memorial service, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, Pastor Gordie Trimer officiating.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to either the Royer United Methodist Church or Mines United Methodist Church, c/o 568 Mines Lane, Williamsburg, PA 16693.
