Terry L. Smith

Terry L. Smith, 79, of Curryville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at his home. He was born on December 1, 1946 in Akron, Ohio; son of the late Clarence L. and Arlene E. (Mowry) Smith. On October 25, 1969 at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Martinsburg, he was united in marriage to Linda K. (Brown) Smith, who survives.

Terry was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1964. He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force from 1964-1968, stationed in Germany. Terry retired with over 25 years of service from Martinsburg Milling as a bookkeeper. He was an active member of the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church. Terry was an avid history buff and loved to read. He enjoyed watching sports and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all, Terry cherished the time he spent with his loving family.

Terry was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Laura; and a sister, Gail E. Ingram. Surviving are his wife, Linda; son, Christopher M. Smith (Lorie) of Roaring Spring; son, Jason L. Smith (Crystal) of Chambersburg; daughter, Amy E. Hinton (Rob) of Williamsburg; grandchildren: Abigail and Noah Smith; and sisters: Mary Beth Koudela (Kevin) and Pamela Bailey (Sherman).

At request of the deceased, Funeral Services will be held privately with Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Terry’s name may be made to the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church Bus Ministry.
