Terry "Shultzy" D. Koontz

Terry D. “Shultzy” Koontz, 66, of Waterside, passed away on October 30, 2020 at home. He was born on May 6, 1954 in Roaring Spring; son of the late George Lester and Harriet Mae (Kagarise) Koontz. Terry was a graduate of the Northern Bedford High School and worked on the Robert H. Beach farm. He also served as a driver for the Cove Mennonite community. He was preceded in death by brothers George Ronald “Ronnie” Koontz and James William “Bill” Koontz. Surviving are his wife Sondra (Rinard) Koontz; son Greg Koontz (Sheila) of Hollidaysburg; daughter Nancy Koontz Cottle (Kyle) of Canton, Maine; daughter Kimberly Koontz (Brice Hershey) of Woodbury; grandchildren Austin, Lindsey, Emily, Braden, Ian, Addilynn, and Hunter; brothers Jack Koontz and Wayne Koontz; and sister Nancy Graffius. Friends will be received on Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 10:00-10:30AM; with a Memorial Service following directly after. All of the above will be held at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. Inurnment will be in Koontz Cemetery.
