Theodore M. “Ted” Johnson, 49, of Everett, passed away on October 6, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born on May 13, 1972 in Iowa City, Iowa; son of Ron Johnson and Janet Evans. Ted was an over the road truck driver for Schneider National. He enjoyed shopping and finding deals, cooking for groups big and small, carpentry, woodworking, and just recently, guns. Ted was involved with the Bedford County Make-A-Wish Diesel Dreams Convoy, dressing to a different theme each year. He was an active firefighter and held the position of safety officer with the Everett Fire Company No. 1. Ted was also involved with the Everett Sportsman Club and the Bloody Run Social Club.
Ted was preceded in death by his father Ron Johnson and a sister Natalie Barton. Surviving is daughters Kasandra L. Faulkner (husband, Raymond), Charlet R. Johnson, and Miranda C. Johnson all of Everett; mother Janet Evans; step-mother Barb Johnson; significant other Pam; step-daughter Erika Dicken (husband, Jon); grandchildren Dean and Raeha Faulkner; step-granddaughter Graceyn Dicken; brother Timm Johnson; sister Kathie McClellan; and adopted family Zach, Morgan, and Zachy Partner as well as Adam Johnson-Forquer.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 5:00-7:00PM. At 7:00PM a funeral service will take place with Pastor Jonathan Wyns officiating. All of the above will be held at the Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. A Celebration of Life Memorial Ride will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Specific details for this event are pending, but will be released when available.
