Thomas D. Wolf

Thomas D. Wolf, 91, of Maple Hollow Road, Duncansville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday afternoon at his residence.
He was born in Claysburg, a son of the late Arlington Issac and Minnie Mabel (Lingenfelter) Wolf. On March 3, 1954, at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, he married Lois M. “Dolly” Stiffler, who preceded him in death on December 4, 2020.
Surviving are his children: Thomas A. (Brenda) Wolf and Deborah L. (Steve) Pheasant, all of Duncansville; grandchildren: Heidi (Dan) Dodge, Joshua (Lisa) Wolf, Danielle (Zach) Clapper, Michelle (Nick) Snyder, and Tiffany (Brandon) McGarvey; great-grandchildren: Savannah, Aliyah, Annie, Alexander, Kylie, Caleb, Kayden, Amelia, and Lincoln; and brothers: James of Hollidaysburg, and William of Altoona. He was preceded in death by sisters: Alice Clapper and Annabelle Barroner.
Tom was a longtime member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, where he served as a former deacon and Sunday school teacher.
He was a 1951 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and loved woodworking and spending time with his family.
Tom retired from the U.S. Postal Service office in Hollidaysburg and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, and from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service, Thursday, January 16, 2025, Pastor Bradley R. Runkle officiating. Private interment will be held at Carson Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, 122 Church Road, Duncansville, PA 16635.
