Timothy S. Edmundson Jr., 41, rural Duncansville, passed away early Sunday morning at home following a courageous battle with ALS.

He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Timothy S. Sr. and Peggy L. (Hugo) Edmundson.  He married Cristine E. Claycomb on April 16, 1994 at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church.

Surviving are his parents of rural Duncansville; his beloved wife, Cris of 21 years; and a son, Jonathan D. at home and paternal grandmother, Virginia L. Edmundson of Duncansville.

Tim was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer L..

He was a 1992 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg.

Tim co-owned and operated Bettwy Systems Inc., Duncansville.

He was an active member of Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church where he served in various capacities.

Tim loved life, his family and enjoyed coaching his son, Jon and his nephews in all the different sports they played.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church where a funeral service will be held at 11 am, Friday, November 20, 2015, Pastor Brian L. McCall officiating.  Private interment will be held at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to ALS Research, Camp Mantowagon, or the Altoona Area Youth Ice Hockey Association.
