Troy E. Hughes, 50, Osterburg, formerly of Oreminea, rural Williamsburg passed away Sunday morning at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Roaring Spring son of Raymond E. and Donna K. (Cunningham) Hughes.
Surviving are his father of rural Martinsburg; his mother of Woodbury; a son, Dakota B. Hughes (Lacy) of Wood; a grandson, Chase Anthony Hughes; a sister, Lisa M. Forshey; and a brother, Travis R. Hughes both of rural Martinsburg; a grandmother, Theresa Hughes of Williamsburg; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Troy was a 1986 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. He was employed as an assembler at H.H. Brown Shoe Company, Martinsburg and had previously worked at Metzler’s Bros. Transport Inc., Duncansville.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. Troy also enjoyed cook-outs, being outdoors, working on his truck and making his daily “Sheetz Run”.
A cookout to celebrate Troy's life will be held from noon until 12am, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Shawnee Park, Roaring Spring.
