V. Madge (Beach) Over

V. Madge Over, 97, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on August 27, 2018 at the Village at Morrisons Cove. She was born on December 17, 1920 in Henrietta, the daughter of the late Harry and Clara (Haffly) Beach. On January 24, 1942 in New Paris, she married J. Kenneth Over. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2005. Madge was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. She was preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Roberts, brother Robert Beach, and 3 grandchildren. Surviving are son Derry Over and wife Aldine (Amick); daughter Janet Sell and husband Robert; son Robert Over and wife Chris (Carbaugh); daughter Kathy Arnold and husband Aloysius; brother James C. Beach; as well as 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 10:00-11:00AM. At 11:00AM, a funeral service will take place with Pastor David Ulm and Reverend Larry Graybill officiating. All of the above will be held at the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. Interment will be at Dry Hill Cemetery. If so desired, Memorial Contributions in Madge’s name can be made to the Village at Morrisons Cove or the charity of your choice.
