Vincent J. "Butch" Liebal

Vincent J. "Butch" Liebal, 50, rural Williamsburg passed away Thursday evening at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of V. John and Karen L. (Brumbaugh) Liebal. On August 9, 1991 he married Kathy R. Gunnett in Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are his parents of Williamsburg; his beloved wife, Kathy of 25 years; 2 sons: Michael C. at home and John V. of Ebensburg; a step-daughter, Christina M. Wheeler (Robert) of North Versailles; 2 grandchildren: Jaylin and Alora Wheeler; a sister, Pamela J. Houck (Dave) of Williamsburg; and 2 nieces: Tawnya M. Sabol and Jessica N. Prough both of Williamsburg.
He was a 1984 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also earned a degree in carpentry from the Williamsport Area Community College.
Butch worked for many years as a carpenter in The Cove and Williamsburg areas. He loved spending time with his family and two dogs, Tyson and Capone. Butch also was avid deer hunter and enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates, camping and hunting wild mushrooms with his wife, Kathy.
A refection of life service will be held at 1:30pm, Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Williamsburg Farm Show Building. Private inurnment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
