Walter L. Smith Jr., 75, a resident of Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Walter L. Smith Sr., and Stella (Taraska) Wright.
Surviving are his wife, Carol A. (Reczka) Smith; two sons: Jeffrey E. (Kristin) and Devin G.; two brothers: Robert (Anna) Wright and Richard (Sheryl) Wright; a sister, Carol A. (Cynthia) Smith.
Walter was a US Army veteran.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, June 8, 2018, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
