Wayne Hall, 69, of Hopewell, passed away on June 7, 2016, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born on September 6, 1946, in Hopewell, the son of Roger and Justina (Cornelius) Hall. Growing up, Wayne was a member of the local 4-H Dairy Club. He also received numerous awards at the Bedford Fair including, two-time Tractor Driving Contest Winner. Wayne was a 1964 graduate of Northern Bedford, being a member of the first class to attend all years at the new building. He was a self-employed dairy farmer and received the Dairy of Distinction Award as well as numerous other outstanding farming awards. Wayne was the Breeder of Halls Hill Holstein and Jersey cattle. Survivors include son, Wayne Roy Hall II of Hopewell; sister, Carroll Kreider (J. Kenneth) of Elizabethtown, PA; sister, Janice Hosler (Donald) of Paoli, PA; sister, Eleanor Nedrow (Loren) of Billings, MT; sister, Darlene Ormsby (Donald) of Roaring Spring, PA. At request of the deceased, interment will be private at Yellow Creek Reformed Church Cemetery. Arrangements by the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home; Woodbury, PA.
