William "Bill" C. Hearn

William “Bill” C. Hearn, 75, of Williamsburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on November 6, 1950 in Altoona; son of the late Galen E. and Alberta B. (McNamara) Hearn. Bill was a Class of 1968 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He worked as an over the road truck driver for West Motor Freight Inc. for many years.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Christine (Bauer) Hearn, and a sister, Priscilla G. (Hearn) Isenberg. Surviving are son, Shawn M. Hearn of Reading; grandchildren: Kaitie, Kellie, and Emily Hearn; siblings: Nancy M. Hearn of Macungie, Cynthia J. Rice (Dr. Patrick Rice) of Hollidaysburg, Robert G. Hearn (Kathy) of Williamsburg, Steven S. Hearn (Heather) of Wedgefield, SC, and Hilda S. Brnich (Richard) of Dillsburg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill enjoyed building and racing his own race cars, drag racing, NASCAR, and a good game of pool. He liked attending family sporting events and spending time with his beloved dog, Sophie. Bill was member of the Williamsburg American Legion and Martinsburg Sportsman’s Club.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 10:00AM until the 12:00 Noon Funeral Service at the Fink & Stone Funeral Home in Williamsburg; Pastor Matt Roberts officiating. Private inurnment will be in Yellow Springs Cemetery – rural Williamsburg.
