William E. Hershberger, 85, Cohoes, NY, passed away Saturday.
He was born in New Enterprise, son of the late George E. and Alma R. (Baker) Hershberger.
Bill is survived by his wife, Marlene (Martin) Hershberger of Cohoes, NY; 2 sons: William E. Jr. (wife, Carolyn) of Bluffton, SC, and Jeffrey G. of Wayland, MA; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Dr. James Hershberger (wife, Shirley) of Martinsburg.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Rice.
Bill was a 1948 graduate of Replogle High School, New Enterprise and a 1957 graduate of Juniata College, Huntingdon where he remained active in several capacities. He spent his entire working career in corporate finance.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 am funeral service, Saturday, January, 9, 2016 at Koontz Church of the Brethren, rural Loysburg, Pastor Michael Benner officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
