William Glenn Pearson, Sr., 78, of Martinsburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center – Johnstown. He was born on August 20, 1947 in Williamsburg; son of the late David W. Sr. and Mary Catherine (Stone) Pearson. On May 29, 1966 at the Williamsburg Church of God, he was united in marriage to Rhonda Jane (Lykens) Pearson; she preceded him in death on December 27, 2021. On February 11, 2023 at the Hartslog Valley Chapel in Huntingdon, he was united in marriage to Karen L. (Shelton) Griner Pearson; who survives.
William was a Class of 1965 graduate of Northern Bedford County High School. He served his country as a member of the United States Army. William was a faithful member of the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church; serving as a deacon and youth program bus driver. He received his insurance license from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, working at A.L. Williams Insurance for 9 years. William drove cement mixer for New Enterprise Stone and Lime for 33 years. Him and his brother, David had a small local roofing business. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring antique cars and tractors and hunting. William was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, that loved spending time with his family.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda; a infant sister, Emma Grace Pearson; and a brother, David W. Pearson, Jr. Surviving is daughter, Amy L. Flaig (Erick) of Williamsburg; daughter, Tina L. Krajacic (John) of Front Royal, Virginia; daughter, Connie L. Weber (Joseph) of Williamsburg; daughter, Leah Jane Kurtz (Nathaniel) of Williamsburg; daughter, Glenda Sue Fisher (Richard F. Jr.) of Williamsburg; son, William Glenn Pearson, Jr. (Nicole) of Roaring Spring; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; brother, James O. Pearson; and sisters: M. Elizabeth Pearson, Doris Ann Butler, and Lois I. Mahon.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 3:00PM until the 6:00PM Funeral Service at the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church; Pastors Joseph Weber and Nate Kurtz officiating. Services will be live streamed on the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church Facebook Page. Interment will be in Oreminea Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
